SV = Search Volume: Explore relevant keywords using Google Adwords


C =   Competition: Check the current index of documents for each of them in Google


Calculate KEI

SV2 : 2400 x 2400  = 5760000

           C :   19,500,000       

SV/ C =   5760000/19500000

KEI= 0.295


According to KEI, the best keywords are those that have a lot of searches and that don't have much competition in the search result. A low KEI is accordingly most effective and preferable.
