Fix Error Code DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

If you are using Google Chrome then you are face DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN Error some time. Most reason user facing this error in Google Chrome only, but you can very easily get access any website page in Mozilla firefox or IE. This error occurs, the reason is that DNS lookup Fails When you attempt and access the Webpage.

We need to do tweaking DNS Setting. So now let's see

Step # 1: Right Click on Network Icon in your Taskbar and click Open Network and Sharing Center


Step # 2: Now a new widow open, Click on Change Adapter Settings

Step # 3: Chose the network adapter which is use to connect your internet and Click "Right Click" and go to Properties 

Step # 4: Now another new widow is appear and double click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)


Step # 5: Now another new widows open and you can click on Use the following DNS server addresses. and inter the following DNS in the boxs

Preferred DNS Server: 8.8.8.8
Alternate DNS Server: 8.8.4.4

Step # 6: Now Click on OK

  2. It means that the DNS service is not working properly on either your side or the server's side. Changing DNS server to Google DNS or OpenDNS , or remove all cookies and cached files on your browser will help to resolve this issue immediately. Like any other error, there are several ways you can solve DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN problems by yourself.

    Release or Renew Your IP Address
    Change DNS server
    Restart DNS Client service
    Reset hosts file
    Reset Chrome Flags
    Reset Winsock program
